With valentines day recently passing how could everyone not be thinking about love and what not, so with this in mind i decided to watch pride and prejudice (the new one). believe it or not.. GREAT MOVIE! I'm usually a tough critic when it comes to movies because i don't like a movie unless the storyline is good or there is a lot of comedy. Pride and Prejudice is very interesting and when your taking a love stories class you see the movie different and it was easier to pick apart how things were back then and how they are today. Although the new movie is way different than the book i still think they get the point across. In my opinion i would definitely pick the movie over the book because i personally think the ending of the book was "dumb."
as for class it was a little disappointing to find out that it was cancelled on a day that i actually wanted to go to class :) but since were having the party today now it wasn't so bad. Overall though i liking the class and its not as bad as i thought it would be.
HAHAH i agree with you there Grizzly Blue ;). The ending of this book was very short and basically to the point witch i did not like at all. when we were first assigned this book i watched part of the movie and i stopped watching it about half way threw when things started getting juicy because i didnt want to ruin it for myself but after reading it i had to pop in the movie and see how they movie took on the end and i do agree that the end deff was better in the movie then in the book.
